Tensioner and pulley

I just replaced mine. I didn't see any warning about not letting the tensioner extend; the new one came in a box with nothing holding it together anyways.
I used a socket on a 1/2" drive 18" long breaker bar on the tensioner pulley in order to compress the tensioner. I was able to hold it compressed with my right hand while I worked through the wheel well with my left hand to route the belt.
Remember to install the belt on the tensioner when you have the pulley off <ggg>.
Remember the bolt on the tensioner pulley is left hand thread.
Snap ring pliers will make this job much easier, as you WILL need to remove the snap ring to remove the tensioner assembly.
I greased the shaft with some synthetic grease to help out the bearings that the assembly swivels on (Permatex Super Lube) which is the same grease I use on the spark plugs by the way.
