Thanks for the response Anders. I put a small bit of copper based
anti-seize on the back of my pads and on the sliding pins - no
silicone. I wonder if I should use the mountain bike tube device
that I used to bleed the clutch? The service manual shows a
device that attaches to the bleeder at the brake and draws a
vacuum there. I also did the procedure, listed in the manual,
of running the hydraulic pump for a minute, opening the output
valves in the valve block for 20 sec., while the pump is running.
Again, I did this without use of a breakout box - I just used a
set of wires with common pins soldered to the ends, and punctured
the wires going to the ground on the main and pump relays,
and the grounds on the 4 output valves.
