I've got Firestone SZ-50's (225/50-16) on and they're almost the
same as the B'stones. I ran them last winter on dry roads only.
I also have a Chevy pick-up, so I used that if the roads weren't
dry. Didn't have any problems with the 'stones, here in Massachusetts where the temperature falls below 0º F in
January. Even with my modified B234R, they had plenty of grip.
