I'll keep at it. I sprayed it a couple of times with PB Blaster, tap the top of the stud with a hammer to hopefully break corrosion and heated the area with a propane torch. I'll keep at it. The last thing I really want to do is drill it out because you can never keep it straight. There is nothing worst then a broken bolt in my opinion. The other bolt threads are pretty rusty with white crustys. I swear when I changed the t-stat a year ago I used anti-seize on the threads.
Thanks Gene for the flap tip. I will try that before spending dollars on some other flaps. The arm is still intact.
