I'm investigating a '97 Aero with automatic that has been serviced very well. It's at Roberti in NY. The first 4 years it accumulated only 45K miles. Roberti sold it and the owner put 60K miles on it in just one year, apparently traveling throughout upstate NY. I'm thinking aloud that the overall condition of the car was not greatly affected in that one year, but the miles are definitely going to be an indicator still of what is to come. Someone said that Saabs are very predictable in the category of wear and tear. So, since this car racked up all those miles in a short period of time is that any better than stretching them out? AND does the old addage that they are 'mostly highway miles' help this determination?
