Bought a '96 900S new in '97, put over 50K miles per year on it (200+ miles PER DAY, 5 days per week, for 3+ years--was I crazy???), then gave it to my wife in '99 with over 100K on it. It was all cruising, highway miles. Never had to replace anything on it (except normal oil changes every month (sometimes twice in a month) at 5K, the serp belt, plugs, rotor, cap, etc.). She put 20K miles on it in the 3 years following (all around-town driving), and it still didn't need anything. I just sold the car a few months' ago, and it was in perfect condition.
As for Roberti Motors, I have nothing but good feelings about them. I bought both my '97 9K and now my '98 9K from them, and they gave me good deals. They replace/fix anything you ask them before you pick it up, and the cars are always in excellent condition (most of them are just off leases).
Just thought I'd share my experiences with you...
BTW: the auto AERO has the same engine ('M') as the CSE. It does not have the 225 hp ('R') engine.
