You did not mention how many miles were on the original '91 motor. If it's a reasonable number, I would pull off the timing cover on the '91 motor, replace all the balance and timing chain components, drop the oil pan to clean the pick up screen, check it all over, and then put that motor back in. Of course, you might want to spin the crank pulley first to make sure it is not actually seized.
I agree with Eric that your oil pressure problem is probably related to crap in the oil pick up. Which is a really, really bad sign on a motor that was advertised at less than 70K miles. Getting the oil pan off with the motor in the car is a major undertaking.
Oh yeah, all that wierd looking stuff you took off the throttle body was the TCS.
