So the minimum voltages you are seeing with the engine running and amp playing are in the high 12V range? That sounds normal to me, at least at idle. Note that things will be worse in summer or any other time engine temperatures are greater, as the alternator will output less voltage as temperature rises, more voltage as temperature lowers.
As long as normal voltages are roughly 12.8 or higher, you should be ok. It is indeed conceivable that an amp four times as powerful could cause an additional voltage drop, assuming you use it to the same potential as your previous amplifier. Without any amplifier at all, my car will exhibit anywhere from 12.9-14.2 volts just due to variations in my driving circumstances (worst being stop and stop traffic at night in the rain).
