Lemme see. I have removed the passenger side front door panel and the driver side rear door, but never the driver side front door panel. It should be the same though as far as the panel goes.
Mine is a 94, mind you. If I remember correctly, there ia a plastic button covering each end of the door map pocket. Remove the cover to remove the bolt. Next there are two rubber caps (or is there only one?) on the door inside grab bar. Remove the caps to remove the bolts. Following that you have to remove the door light. Forgot how it is but should be straight forward. Finally remove the inside door handle cover. Again I forgot the specifics but it should be straight forward.
You should now be able to remove the inside door panel. Pry out from the bottom and lift up. I think I posted this a while ago when the front passenger side door of my 94cs was damaged in the driveway when my dughter backed the car up with the door open.
