Maybe I should rethink the whole used SAAB thing?
Should I go American, for a lower cost of ownership?
Should I go German, for quality and longevity, at a higher cost of ownership?
I always thought that it was wise to look at so called quality high priced cars as opposed to lower priced cars when shopping for used vehicals. The thinking is that pricey cars are built better and should last longer.
However, it seems that there is more negative feedback in regards to older SAABs! It seems that there are several major things that can go wrong and Do go wrong with the cars. I am starting to ask myself if it is worth it to continue to pursue this facination that I have about owning a 9000.
I mean is it possible to find one at a low price and not have to put an equal amount into repairs? I need about three years of service, does that have to cost $10,000 and above? It seems that even nicer higher priced 9000's with lower miles can be just as expensive?
Maybe I should do more thinking?
