you say these things as if they should have to be replaced, when they are all items that will need replacement eventually. I guess the tranny is not one of them, but who did what to it, or perhaps what did not get done to it, to require replacement.
A 91 car is now 12 years old and anythin rubber on it is suspect.
So as long as you aren't bitching... taking a look at the list of probable repairs on any 12 years old car and I'd bet the list is not much different than what you've encountered.
