The general layout on the 96 9000CS should be reasonably similar that that on my 1994 9000 Aero.
1. Raise the car up in the air using either ramps or a jack and then placing jackstands in place. I cannot use most ramps on my 9000 Aero due to the air dam, but the CS models may not have as low of an air dam.
2. On whichever side of the car that the fog light is located, look underneath the car and you will see a plastic cover extending from under the fog light rearward. You will need to remove this cover using a 10 millimeter socket on the eight or so bolts that attach this cover. After removing the bolts you will probably have to slide the cover to the rear to free up the tabs on the front side of the cover.
3. You will now have access to the fog light. Disconnect the wire leading to the fog light at its plastic connector (about 12 inches or so from where it enters the fog light). The actual fog light is held in place with three 10 millimeter bolts. Remove these bolts and you are now halfway done.
4. Reverse the process to install the new foglight.
This job should take about 15-20 minutes total.
Good luck.
