Do women all drive like that?

Wife called me yesterday afternoon the 94CS turbo is dead. I am away on business. She first detected steering difficulty after picking up our son from school. I would have stopped the car to check the belt right then and there. But she simply ignored it and kept driving. She then picked up a friend and take her to the train station 10 miles away and came back. By the time she pulled into her office parking lot, smoke was coming out of the engine compartment. And she saw the belt, or what's left of it, without opening the hood. My guess is either the radiator blew and the engine overheated. To what extent was the damage, I won't know until I go back home in another week.
It seems nothing can deter her from reaching her final destination. The good thing is she can still start the car at the end of the day when she left the office to go home 3 miles away. Although she is not dumb or bold enough to drive it home with loss of engine coolant and no belt.
I've heard enough women behind the wheel horror stories. This one is from someone who doesn't know how to fill gas at a gas station if she goes out of the State of New Jersey.
