The simple solution is Motor mount stiffeners... It is cheap, it is easy and if you put them in before your bottom mounts are torn, they wont tear. The whole issue with 9000 motor mounts is that the uppers tear in the corners and then the motor has too much movement and then tears the lowers. On top of this, all of the back lashing of the motor bouncing around leads to (automatic) transmision failure. 5 spd owners just experience a loose slow shift.
Yes. I sell the stiffeners on eBay... Am am honestly not trying to sell stuff here. It is just amazing that this has been an on going subject here from the begining of time. It is a simple concept. Bend some plastic and stick them in yourself if you do not have $20 to spend. You can adjust vibration out by reducing the # of stiffeners you use. I have only had one person email me that there was a little bit of vibration. I have sold about 1000 sets and nobody has taken me up on my lifetime gaurantee. I've heard about using golf tees, but they fall out. I have heard of using intertube rubber...Tried it. They fall out. Plastic stays in, but the front one has to fit tightly and make it longer than the rest with a slot so it "pops" in. Copy the design from my pictures... I have had mine in for 4 years now. My bottom mounts are still originals at 151K.
