Obtain a new piece at your dealer, the old ones become brittle with time-not worth the effort to reuse.
The old line can be removed by sliceing along the hose to the start of the barb on the fitting, then cut across the front of the barb on the fittingwith a new single edge razor blade, leaving the bell mouth on the hose to start the new fitting.
To install the new fitting, heat the end of the hose with a heat gun just enough to slip the fitting in hose easily.
