I've always recommended that if you do it, be sure to use the cams from a turbo because it will lower the dynamic (not static) compression ratio. Many have ignored my advice, some with bad results some with good results. The ones that have used the turbo cams have almost a 100% success rate. As far as the wiring goes, it's already there. All you have to do is plug-n-play. Heck, even the block has a hole for the oil return pipe for the turbo. You guys should know by now that SAABs are well built. Some even stating that SAAB used inferior parts on the n/a engines truly surprises me. But you are right about having sufficient experience with SAABs.
