Anders, thanks a lot for the hints.

I plan on replacing the bleeder valve, though the one I have seems like the latest "model" (blue electrical port). Before that, I will apply to it the test you have posted on BB in the past (I call it "hot resistance" check :). Even if the valve turns out to be OK, I could probably use the new replacement for the boost control (the one on driver's side has definitely an open circuit). I have already changed the red/white check valve. The only odd thing on the bleeder valve side is the missing vacuum hose from the port facing down to the top of the throttle body; however, the port on the body is plugged anyway (is it some sort of tricky fix? - I believe I saw at least one other throttle body plugged the same way).

It seems that my Saab has now the codes reset (no longer TCS CTRL and/or check engine light). I did not push the gas on my way back home, so not having LHM triggered is rather explainable. Tomorrow, I still am going to visit with the SAAB mechanic about his findings on the codes (which - thanks to you, Anders - I know already :), but perhaps instead of agreeing on replacing anything, I should ask him to double-check the kickdown cable adjustment and to recalibrate the system again? Should I simply drive the car now until next LHM and then repeat Tech2 again?

P.S. I copied the 35380 code from mechanic's writing. Perhaps I misread it.
