Hey Guys
Thanks for your insight, he probably quoted me backwards, or I remembered it backwards. anyway, the clutch has hardly any play in the pedal, maybe an inch or two...once it warms up, it gets firmer, and maybe it needs four inches to push it all the way to the floor...I really haven't been driving it -while I decide what to do, been relying on my motorcycle, but the weather will turn soon...Grim, I didn't even suspect the tranny could be going?!? So in the am, it literally takes two hands to try to force it into 1st -and before its locked in, with the clutch all the way to the floor, the car is moving forward...So I've gotten to starting it in gear which is easier, and just get going...If anyone thinks that points to a bad tranny as well, let me know. I really appreciate all the insight.
Also, a full clutch job should cost what, roughly?
Thanks again
-Pete
