I was pretty sure that the lower voltages indicate a lean mixture than stoich. I've disconnected a vaccuum line while measuring at idle and the voltage goes way down.
Speaking of this, my O2 sensor (for my 88 9kT) goes way below 0.2V. It actually drops to 0 (on a analog and digital MM) on the downswing. Is this normal? The sensor is about 5 months old. On the upswing it goes to 0.8V or thereabouts. Adjusting the AMM either way does not stop it from dropping that low, but the duty-cycle changes as does the max. voltage that is reached.
