MAP sensor fault causing starting problems?

I have been having difficulty starting on these cooler mornings.
Symptoms: engine is cold, takes 4-5 cranks to fire up, then stalls immediately when any kind of load is applied. After a few more tries and holding high revs I can coax the car onto the road. After 5-10 minutes of driving she works fine.
The check engine light goes on during the starting/stalling process and three codes are displayed; 2 flashes (MAP sensor), 3 flashes (Air intake temp. sensor) and also 6 flashes (O2 sensor). However, once the car has run for 30 minutes or so the CEL disappears.
I have already replaced the Air Intake temp. sensor with no improvement.
Question: Has anyone experienced a bad MAP sensor that would only affect cold start? Any other possible ideas?
Many thanks for your help!
