On the '87 I was able to remove the front grill and had access to the bad wire, and repair with a coat hanger. I was traveling and desperate.
Unfortunately this won't work on my '95CSE. I just took some measurements that should. Hopefully the measurements are the same on your '94
There are two primary catches in the middle third of the hood front. Each catch is a spring attached to a wire with a lead fitting. Pull the catch release, it pulls the wire which pulls the spring in a line parallel to the hood edge.
If you measure over from the top left corner of the front grill 1.25inches to the right, the spring is directly behind this spot. Carefully slide a screwdriver between the grill and hood aprox 3" straight back. You are sliding over a plastic spacer and under the rubber seal of the hood. The screwdriver tip will be slanted up slightly. You need to push the release to the right. Take your time until you can feel the spring and it's movement. It is not hard so don't force. When the hood pops up a bit, you're released.
The right side insertion spot is 1.75" to the left of the top right corner of the front grill. Also push right on this release to get it to pop.
I've just looked at it and was able to release the hoods fairly easily. You are working blind and on faith because you are not likely to know how it looks. Take your time and feel for the spring with your screwdriver. Don't use big force, if you are in the right spot you can feel the spring give.
Once you get in there under the hood you'll have to figure out how to get the grill and trim out to work on the wire.
