If you are taking the time to install new amplifiers you are going to have run enough speaker wire to the stock wires that it would be easier to run your own wires from the start. It is easy to run wires from the back to the front of the car, just unscrew and lift up the side sills and you will have tons of room to lay wires cleanly into the trenches. One thing you should always remember is to keep the speaker wires, RCA cables, and powers wires as seperate as possible. I would and have gone as far as running the power wires up the left side of the car and the speakers wires up the right side. The RCA's were also run up the right side, but they were tucked far under the carpet so that they lay about 2 inches from the speaker wires. Any time that power and speakers wires must cross make sure they do so at a 90 degree angle (This means they always form a perfect x at intersections). This applies to RCA and speaker wires as well. All this is prevent the power from one line from inducing a current on another line which can result in static or alternator hum.
