Unfortunately I'm in no position to help you mechanically, but I would bet that you can trust the dealer ?or maybe a good foreign car shop in the area? to replace a pulley and belt. I doubt that it's much different from say, 9-3's & 9-5's, in that respect. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong). Now just two nights ago I drove 200 miles with no clutch to get to an indy I trust to do that job correctly, so you definitely have the right instinct to run in my opinion. But have you priced a 250mi tow lately? Probably cheaper to have the dealer fix and indy check when you get home. Good luck whatever you choose, hope it turns out for the best. -AMG
