I finally got the Aero I always wanted '97 with special seats but I'll be damned if it doesn't still feel nice to sit in my '89 cd with non-leather seats - they are blue velour and firm. They used to get hard in winter on very cold days until warmed up but there is still something nice about the feel. Perhaps cost cutting went on in the 90's -or weight issues caused material changes? If you still have both cars, swap the seats -it is easy and everything bolts right in the same (unless color is an issue)
My old cd is just out back - neglected; strong still with 258,456 miles and I want to sell and keep it depending on the day.
