My 9000T experience started with an 86, then an 87, then a 92 and another 92. I just bought an 89 and here is my $0.02. The 86 & 87 had leather by "Bridge of Weir", the newer ones leather by "Elmo", according to the tags that were attached to the front headrests. The earlier ones were softer, the 89 and after have a harder feel to the surface, but the newer seats stand up longer. I put more than 200k on the 87 and the seats were still very comfortable they were looking worn. My 92 with 150k hardly shows any wear. BTW I weigh about 200 lb.
