I've done this job twice; on a 95 CDE and a 98 CSE. I'm a big believer in disconnecting the AC line. I go to the local A/C shop on Friday and have them evacuate the system. On Saturday I do the blower motor and heater core, and on Monday they recharge the system. My local shop charges one price, $79, for the two stops. With the evaporator disconnected it lifts right out. I have the process of getting the blower out down to 45 minutes now. Heater core adds another half hour, especially it you clean out the cavity. With summer almost here you could probably use the A/C service anyway!
