I have a '91 9000T 5 speed currently. I purchased it for $2,400 on ebay two years ago with 162K on it and it now is still running strong at 197K. It has had some minor problems which I essentially ignored until I found this site about a month ago. All of my problems were easily self repairable at a minimal cost. This site has some extremely knowledgeable people contributing to it who have been able to diagnose and tell me how to fix each problem in short order. My '91 has been very fun and reliable, unfortunately I promised it to my brother. Last week I asked advice on how to get the same performance out of a newer model and someone told me I was nuts for wanting to "upgrade" to a newer model, as they are not as fun as the '91's. I think he is probably right, but too late - the deed is already done. If you do buy it, I recommend putting the high performance exhaust on it - it makes the car scary fast. Good luck.
