The left and right wire is guided from motor to back rest gear box through a plastic tube. That tube cracks midway and allow the wire to come undone from gear box.
A little bit tricky to replace but not impossible. It can be difficult to pull the old tubes out of gear box since it's a snap lock configuration (watch your knuckles when it lets go).
You have to loosen the motor from seat frame to release the tubes.
And make sure to calibrate/move the back rest to proper position before putting all together so you don't end up with a tweaked back rest.
Replace both tubes at the same time since they get brittle with age.
