Hi Taylor,
I always enjoy yoru postings on the Performance board, so it's good to see you over here.
The alternator is a good upgrade. You will need to change the pulley with your existing one. A machine shop can do this, or a puller is a pretty cheap and useful tool to get anyway. The voltage regulator is also in a slightly different position, but you can unbolt the alternator housing and rotate it to the same position as on a C900. It's been a while since I've messed with this stuff, but when you have to two side by side it should be pretty intuitive.
Check the brushes on the voltage regulator before you install it. The alternator itself should be good for at leats 10 years.
