Reasonable question :-). A couple of reasons.. first one is that Wheel lugs MUST be put on with a Torque wrench.. No Air guns. Yes they are that sensitive.
Other is "Operator Error" which few like to listen to. Fact is If one heavily uses the brakes, say a full car, and has to quickly stop at one of those Idiotically Placed Traffic Lights onna Hiway.. thereby causing a heavily heated Rotor.. THEN.. keeping one's foot firmly on the brake waiting for the light to cycle.. Yer Rotor is Gonna Warp, no ifs or buts... regardless of perceived component 'quality' differences.
Undersised braking systems suffer more than oversized ones.. Duhh.
Rotor replacement is the Sure Fix, BUT new rotors require a surprisingly lengthy 'break-in'.. so don't go messing up what you just 'fixed'...somtimes a well done resurfacing can eliminate the warp.. for a while.
AP racing Look up their website yourself.. has a good information section...highly educational.
