test your system out for you and tell you your problem. At least around here, they all have portable electronic tester.
Regardless, you should clean all of the contacts on your battery terminals and body attachments for good measure. If your battery is too weak to turn the starter, you will likely notice other problems like dim lights, the car in the previous starting attempts will have turned slower than normal, etc.
There are issues with 9000 cars having hot starting problems relating to the inferior starter solenoid circuitry. When the heat goes up, so does the resistance in the starter circuit. Eventually, you go to start the car and it wont turn...yet sometimes, it starts flawlessly. I had the mod done to my 9000 9 years ago, so I don't remember it well enough to talk you through it. Other here have done it more recently.
