Because I posted my voltages, which I did confirm with my own,
separate digital voltmeter, and I did clean the stuff not too
long ago - and I haven't any other problems electrically, of
any kind - no dimming lights or anything at all - just the
rather clearly defined hot starting problem, twice, along with
low battery voltage, and it started seconds after the jumper
cables were hooked up - so it didn't have much time to cool...
I've not heard of the hot starting problems before - and this
is my 4th 9KT - none of my others had such a problem, but I
looked for it anyways, and:
I found the ford solenoid fix on the Townsend site, but this
is not related to my problem - my starter kicks in and turns
over - just verrrrry slohttp://wwwly, not enough for a start.
Yes, I do live in the boonies - but no, I don't have a stack
of batteries hanging around - just the really good one in my
truck, and it won't fit !
