what's the problem?? Posted by Andrew [Email] (#1013) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Andrew) on Sat, 19 Jun 2004 10:08:59 In Reply to: mixed gas and oil in tank, gring, Fri, 18 Jun 2004 18:46:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Snowmobiles normally use a 50:1 gas/oil mix.. NOT enough oil in there to stop an engine under ANY circumstances. (Assuming that the fuel was actually Fuel :-) Lotsa tired engines burn that much oil.
Suspect there are problems re the engine running out of Gas rather than the Fuel used. IF it were mine I'd test the Pump and Fit fresh Plugs.
Topping up the tank with fresh fuel should dilute the oil content to negligible ratio.
