Hi bob, The turbo in question right now, the one on my car that's only producing 10psi, is a new-ER turbo from another 9000. The origional turbo that experienced the water damage is already rotting in a scrapyard somewhere. My shop threw it out without asking me, i know it could have been used as a core, oh well. Anyways, i'm not fully convinced one way or another that NEW turbo itself is part of the problem. It very well could be, but Dave at group9perofmance hand picked it out for me and cleaned it up before it got put on my engine. It didn't have a full rebuild on it, it was just in good shape, from what he says... I trust his judgement, but the problem still remains. The car seems very hesitant around the 2.5 to 3 range on the tach, where it would have normally boosted heavily...anyone else have any ideas? I'd like to try everything else before i take the turbo off... literally... ;)
