Hmmm.. had a 95 530 sedan as the "firm's" Car for a while. that's the one with the Little 8 cyl ? Decent performing car, thirsty tho, and LOTSA time inna shop tho for a variety of ills. Waterpump to Cylinder Liners, all under warantee tho,, but in the 2 years we owned it.. musta been 'inna shop' for a full 3 months. Can't even imagine being saddled with a well used one.
The Datsun would be a better car..albeit I agree it's not overly spacious. I'm on my second Acura.. first one (legend) bought new in 92 gave 10 yrs faithfull service with the only extraordinary expenditures being: 1 headlight bulb, 1 muffler, 1 set of Brake pads, 1 set of Tires and a Battery.. That's it! Sold it for half what I paid for it.. when the smoke cleared it worked out to $1400 a year averaged cost of ownnership.
My now 2 years old TL-S is proving every bit as reliable.. but I may mess up the 'annual csts' as I'm lusting over the 04 model's 275 hp and it's 6spd :-)
Kinda injects a bit of Reality into the wisdom of perpetually patching on a worn old car?
