... because of the lack of safety features is has... of course... NONE!
So, 21 is a high guess on the MAX psi i got from my "uncontrollable" boost test...
I wasn't really giving it full gas... i was a little nervous about doing the test at all... i DEFINATELY didn't get 25 psi or anywhere near it...
However, with the upgraded cams and such, i wouldn't expect to get around 25 psi until i hit into the higher RPM ranges, they really are THAT different. My car's power was totally shifter into the higher RPM bands, which is ok by me, the aluminum flywheel and other mods help the whole thing get moving that much faster right up to 6 on the tach...
... and i'm CERTAINLY not driving it like that with the W hose disconnected... wouldn't even think of it...
...so i MIGHT get 25 psi with the hose disconnected... i just didn't try very hard... which is a good thing...
..bottom line is i get MORE boost without BPC connected, and that's what the test was all about i guess.
so i'll swap it with my friends... and see what happens... and report back here... thanks everyone...
