"dump-valve".
Waste-gate is inside the turbo and is contolled by the wastegate
actuator. The "w" line you removed controls the wastegate actuator.
With the w-line removed, the wastegate should remain fully shut
and allow full boost.
Make sure the wastegate actuator rod is attached to the wastegate
arm on the turbo housing. I have never heard of a wastegate failing.
