ABS light--it's baaaaaaaack!

I have posted previously about rock hard brakes and the ABS and brake fluid lights being on (88 9k turbo). I got some great advice about cleaning the connections to well, basically everything. Unfortunately, it went away (the lights, that is) all on its own, so I never really found the problem.
Well, now the rock hard brakes have returned. So I started exploring the connections, and when I removed the ABS computer, it SLOSHED. Imagine my surprise! Also looks like I'm not the only one to have this happen.
None of the connectors on the computer or the wiring harness look corroded. What's the best way to dry out the computer? How can I check it to may sure it's OK?
I also would like to check and see if my ABS pump is shot or not. The archives say to connect pin 87 of the ABS pump relay to +12 volts. If I understand this correctly, I should take a wire (16 gauge okay?) and touch it to the positive battery terminal AND ????
I know where the ABS relays are, but which one is pin 87? I see number printed on the plastic, but no 87. Am I looking in the correct place?
Electrical stuff is the hardest for me, but I'm getting there!
Thanks for any advice that you have!
