There's an o-ring where the pipe joins the water pump (near the timing cover), although usually these leaks manifest themselves the first time you fill the system after having changed the water pump.
Otherwise, could be one of the hoses leading to the throttle body -- one connects to this pipe behind the head just over the starter.
If you've got a coolant leak at the head gasket it would normally manifest itself as steam in the exhaust as the leak goes into the cylinder. I don't KNOW that a more generic coolant leak from the head doesn't happen, but normal headgasket concerns originate in steam and/or running problems. Given that fact, I'm optimistic that you may have a leaky hose, or even just a loose hose clamp (happens all the time).
