if the idle fluctuates, and the AIC is isolated, (as per my previous post) the AMM is not a factor if the idle stabilizes when the AIC is de-activated by a jumper at the test socket. I too have the procedures, however an actual test of the function of the AMM is easier said than done.
So Andrew...it wouldn't hurt to back pin the ecu (+to signal wire, -to chassis), and get a read on the voltage when the car is warm. you should see a constant fluctuation between .1-.2 and .70-.80V, continuously. This will give you an idea whether or not you have a mixture problem as rfeller states, via AMM, or a poor o2 sensor
