I agree with you that there are many well meaning posts that supply information that can misleading in respect to your own 9000 model. Not withstanding, this is the first car that I have ever owned where I have been able to get daily advice with the repair and maintenance of my vehicle.
Now about that sensor they forgot to remove. I presume it has already been disconnected at the point where it terminates. I haven't been able to determine where that is due to the limited space behind the motor. Could you advise me where the lead terminates. I presume at this point the old wiring is held by the harness and maybe I could just cut off the lead at any point.
