Hi, this is the message that follows the one about the engine stalling, but as I posted it later, it comes first, I'll know it for next time:
The other question I asked the mechanic at BaireSaab regarded the exhaust system. I want to change from the turbo back, with a sport cat, but he said that the lambda sensor is designed to work with that cat and if I were to do it I should do it from the cat back. I would only gain in sound but not on performance this way. But I've seen many people on the SaabNet that have done it, even a full 3" system which is what I want. The mechanic said that the lambda sensor might read out of the normal parameters and that the computer might not be reprogramed to the new parameters. What has been your experience with changing the exhaust system? As my car is a 92, it does not have the Trionic but two computers (he didn't had any experience on this, for example he said he would have to try which of the two computers would have to be adjusted).
I would really apreciate your help on this matter. Thank You!
