Here in Argentina they make the exhaust for your car in the moment, no matter what car it is. They give you a two day period where you can come back and change the system for another with a higher or lower sound level and you decide the diameter of the exhaust. That is why I wanted to go to a full 3" system. The process takes some 6 hours and thanks to the devaluation in the year 2002, the price has gone from 600 or so dollars w/o cat... to 200 plus another 250 for the sports cat. I like what you've done to your car. Did you lower it with H&R springs? I installed a set of Konis, wich the saab shop didn't want to install because they said was a modification, and H&R springs that I bought from Taliaferro on my last trip to the USA which was a week ago :P (I had to deliver two paintings since my father has an art gallery). I should take some pictures of the car and post them. I higly recommend it to everyone. The turn-in and stability of the car now is simply amazing.
Regarding your friend, I don't know if he'd be interested in this cat due to the problem of shipping it from Argentina, I think the price is similar there. Their website is SilenPro.com.ar Thanks for your help. My Saab mechanic has no experience with upgrading the car from anything that is not stock.
