what's high miles = ?

sounds like a good deal, compared to market for a 94, maybe less on ebay, but it's lower than what i was seeing when i was looking several months ago (I paid $2800 for my 93 CSE with some recent repair receipts)

I would go to ebay, click on advanced search, and check completed auctions and see what they've sold for. go to http://www.bargainnews.com and check what they're selling for in New England (lots to compare with).

then check the recent repair history besides motor mounts...

heater core
DI cassette
brakes
alternator
exhaust
etc.

things that tend to need replacing soon after buying a perfectly functioning saab 9000.

i have a theory, one of which is that after putting a lot of money into a 9000, saab owner's developed 'saab sense' picks up that something else is going to break soon so they feel like selling it while it is still a good car (guilt free transaction with new parts at low selling price).

it's a win win for both parties, but soon after, the buyer will have to fix something.

higher cost used saabs are either unreasonable, or seller has fixed everything and the car is as reliable as new.

sounds like a nice low price to get into a newer 9000 (more expensive than older style).

imo of course.
