Fluid flush - clutch but not brakes

A few years ago I flushed the clutch and brakes using ATE Super Blue fluid. If I want to flush the clutch, but not the brakes, is it ok to use a different brand of DOT4 fluid to flush the clutch but leave the remaining Super Blue fluid in the brake hydraulic system? Or should I flush the brakes as well with the new fluid? I'd like to use a different colored fluid to ensure all old fluid is removed.
