if you numbered them left to right, then pin 2 is the center pin, correct?
then pin 2 should be positive, all the time, no matter what.
i haven't done this test myself in a long time, because i haven't had to, thank god... but anyways...
here is what should happen, when you alternatively ground the outer pins
BLOW AIR INTO THE W HOSE for the test...
grounding one side will allow you to flow freely through the w hose...
grounding the other side will be much harder to blow air into the w hose... but you'll be able to blow SOME air...
sorry if i confused you with the c->w thing, you should blow into the W hose for the test.
i mean obviously if you're blowing into the c hose then air will always be able to freely flow through c, and a little with r too,
W is the only hose that matters here...
try cleaning out with some electric component safe brake cleaner...
electrically move the disc back and forth while you clean... it helps get some of the crap out...
clean the contacts on your computers, clean the contacts on the bpc connectors too...
good luck
