mpg in town over the past couple months, but still getting 30+ on highway in 93 cse auto and easily same in 92 9000S 5-spd, both non-turbo.
putting roof bars on my 93 took about 2-4 mpg off the highway mpg on my 93, unless that was when the local gas switched to winter formula, in which case, coincidence, but i noticed the same on my 90 9000S when i put roof bars on and was commuting and took the bars off for that reason.
over the fall i was getting 34 mpg in my 93 auto on highway at about 65 mph average, and hit 37 in my 92 9000S 5-spd on a recent highway run (purely highway, it dropped when i got into mixed driving). this is the edu computer readout, but i've checked them both at times and they're fairly accurate to within a couple tenths.
remember though that i'm in miami and the highways are flat
makes a difference, i used to get 40 mpg driving from western mass to southern ct (downhill) in my 95 subaru and 32 on the way back (uphill)
