where you live ?
I'm in NJ and I use no season tire on my 9K Aero.
(1) I have used Pirelli P7000 SuperSport (no season directional tires), excellent when new, howled when worn, the noise was so bad I thought I had bad wheel bearings or transmission problem. Put on new tires (see (2)) and everything was good.
(2) I also went through a set of Dunlop SP5000 Asymmetrical tires, excellent all around tires, a bit slow in turning, did ok in snow when relatively new, quiet even when worn, relatively inexpensive at Tirerack.
(3) Recently put on Pirelli PZero Nero (Asymmetrical tires as well), I only put on about 1,000 miles or so. I think they are a bit noisier than the Dunlops (maybe too many rain grooves ??), excellent all around tires, offer quicker turn in than the Dunlops, did Ok in a recent big snow storm. They are also inexpensive.
I like asymmetrical tires as I can cross rotate without remounting them. I do cross rotate, I think the tires wear better that way. No, I haven't run into problem with cross rotation unlike some might advise against it.
