I got one from Kachina a couple of years ago, and it is going strong. My Blue DI looked brand new. No buff marks on the rubber, or scratches in the paint. I really think this was a brand new unit simply made as a test unit. At the time I bought there was some speculation that the Blue DI was built heavier as a 'calibration type' unit. I doubt it.

Besides being blue and having a hole drilled in the end to hang it, the blue DI has metal trimmed off of the sides. This allows grit to get into the engine well. I just replaced my plugs, and used a shop vac all around the plugs to keep from getting that grit into the cylinders.

eEuroparts had the blues in stock for a while. Haven't seen them elsewhere.
