Ari the O2 was disconnected at the dogbone mount on the pass side of the car. I Have tried to adjust the new AMM but it does not change the reading with the o2 hooked up. I disconnected the o2 wire to see if the ecm side had voltage on it. I did not know if it was a output or input wire. So i wanted to see if my o2 was stuck in the rich.
The O2 looks to have been in there for along time.
I did get a different voltage reading from a different ground location. it was .32 and it would show a swing + - in voltage. but it was on the mount area. So I need a good ground point. Must all places have been .8 when checking the o2 voltage.
Ron J. says its the clogged injectors. But i done know how it check to see if my New AMM is really good. Iam thinking of taking the injectors out of the car to try and clean them with some injector cleaner and a toothbrush if that would help clear them up faster? They must be really dirty? I do have a mini hand vac pump and a vac/fuel press. gauge if there is something else i need to check like the FPR. or manifold vac. It will loap during idle for a few minutes and run smooth for a few minutes, back and forth till it would run out of gas i imagine. I have cleaned the throttle and taken the IAC out twice and cleaned it with carb. clnr. It seems worst now than before i started cleaning it. (idle quality). Oh well
